"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely little family run B&B. The historic property has been renovated to a high standard and the hosts were extremely friendly and thoughtful. As we did not have a car, the location was also excellent, being close to restaurants and the main bus hub, but away from traffic noise. Would definitely recommend."

"What a lovely place! The food was excellent, a very good choice of drinks, the room was really comfortable and the location meant we were no more than a 30 minute drive to any other part of the island. What really sets this place apart, however, is the staff; very friendly and helpful, and we felt genuinely looked after during our entire stay. Thank you!"

Clean and lovely place

"Really clean and spacious caravan, very pretty setting. The only mark down on cleanliness was for the pool and changing areas, it was a nice pool but there wasn't really anywhere to change and leave stuff, and the general changing area/ toilets could've done with more regular cleaning. The caravan and everywhere else was very clean though, we had a lovely stay and would return."

"Lovely hostess (Pauline) very welcoming and helpful suggesting places to eat, all of which were excellent with regard to food & atmosphere. The location of the Barn is very central and nowhere on the island is more than 45 minutes away (traffic permitting). Highly recommended!"

Lavender Cottage - a cottage that sleeps 5 guests in 3 bedrooms

Fantastic stay

"Property was clean and fresh. It's a lovely quaint cottage with all mod cons. Loved listening to the ducks in the evening and in morning. The only downside is there isn't a corner shop nearby for any last minute or forgotten items. There is however an Aldi and Morrisons not far by bus with stops outside so ideal if you don't drive. Would highly recommend and will be booking again. Thank you xx"

"My fiancée and I recently had the most wonderful stay in Newport. The building itself is truly stunning, steeped in history that added a unique charm to our experience. Beyond the beautiful architecture, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We were also particularly impressed with their breakfast service – the selection and quality were truly outstanding and a delightful start to each day. We left feeling refreshed and with fantastic memories of our time here. Highly recommend for a truly special and memorable stay!"
