"Spacious, clean apartment with great view. Close to everything, 5 min walk to Dover beach, one of the best on the island. St Lawrence gap has lot's of bars so there is some noise in the evening, we were staying over New Year so it went on quite late, bring some earplugs if you are a light sleeper and sleeping in the rear room (other bedroom is much quieter). Overall highly recommended. "

"I visited Barbados in 1990 for a cricket tournament; it has always been on our wish list and we were finally able to fulfill this wish. The condo is great and the view is one we will not forget in a long time. The taxi driver told us that St Lawrence Gap is "where it is happening" so this was encouraging. "It’s always a bit of the unknown when you book somewhere , but this was a great find. Communication from the owner was great , property was exactly as described and the location was ideal . You can walk to everything you might need and if you don’t have a car , the bus stop is very close. We had a really lovely time and places like this enable us to visit a country where hotels etc can be very expensive. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. "We had a lovely week staying at the Sapphire Beach condo. The host was very responsive and dealt with any issues quickly and completely, even providing us with the name of the driver they use, saving us with our airport transportation. As for the accommodations, some things for future renters to know: the pool deck does not allow glass bottles or cups, and the condo was not stocked with plastic (aside from some tupperware), so plan on bringing your own. There was a shortage of chaise lounges...
