"Staff are wonderful, my room came with a King and Queen sized beds on two floor areas (main floor area had a table with 2 chairs, dresser with a Flatscreen TV, open closet, luggage racks (2), ironing board, hair dryer, duvets, extra pillows and a queen sized elevated bed, nightstand with a USB device to plug all of your electronics into; the upper level had an elevated king sized bed along with a nightstand, a clock radio, a large desk housing a coffee maker, toaster, condiments for tea, coffee, toast, bagels, etc., a large screen TV on the wall, phone. The microwave sits on top of the fridge. A nice long bathroom with a bathtub/shower housing shampoo, conditioner, lots of towels and toiletries. Ample hot water! My continental breakfast was included. I enjoyed my stay immensely, especially the blackout curtains."

"What a cute old motel with a new modern flair. VERY clean. (and I am very picky!!!!) The view was gorgeous! Nice big windows in the front and back of the room. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were very soft. We only had one wash cloth and one makeup wash cloth in the room but they brought more to us. The bathroom door was quite squeaky and we brought that to the attention of housekeeping when we left. I'm guessing this will be addressed soon. The place looked like they have worked really hard to make this a nice place!! Nothing that would make me want to leave anything less than a five-star review. We stayed in the king room for one night. "

"We just returned from a week's stay at this place. It really is peaceful and relaxing. It was in a perfect location, close to family. Everything we needed was available. Martin and family are wonderful people. We will definitely return again. Thanks for a fantastic holidy."

"The location and natural surroundings were stunning. We loved the view, the sound of the waves, and the tranquility. The beach, decks, and exterior furniture were fantastic. Large windows let in so much light, and the WiFi was strong enough for remote work. However, there are some issues. The second bed is just a mattress on the floor, and the first bed was uncomfortable, causing back pain. Basic cooking supplies were minimal, and cell service is spotty. The house leaks when it rains, causing a musty smell. Cleanliness needs improvement—we found mouse droppings and dead bugs. The water is potable but has a strong, unpleasant odor (iron). The owner lets you know after you book to bring in water, but the ad should be updated so people are aware before booking. We did not appreciate the presence of mice and the lack of response from the host. We sent a note halfway through mentioning the high mouse activity and that we caught a mouse with the traps Creighton set up after we called him. The host never responded. Creighton was responsive and helped take care of the mouse, but it would have been nice for the owner to acknowledge our complaint. The furniture was uncomfortable, with no good seating options. While the location was wonderful, the cleanliness, comfort, and communication issues impacted our stay."
