"Needs updating, edges of wardrobe/drawers chipped. Bathroom needs to be updated Generally the room looks tired. Good location for St Kilda, walkable to where I needed to go as well as the trams. The woman on reception was so helpful and knowledgeable of the area."

"It is a beautiful old home, full of character. Needs some carpet upgrading in main house. Very clean. Outdoor settings in my room needed to be cleaned, but everything else was spotless. Refridgeratir needs go be defrosted. The manager Alex was marvelous. He took great care of me & was very helpful. I would stay there again. Through no fault of the host, the owners had changed the lock on the mailbox (where the keys were kept) but the owners had not provided the hosts with the new keys. The host managed to meet up with us to give us our keys, which was serendipitous rather than the result of good planning.Communication with the hosts was awkward. "Stayed for 2 nights with a few friends and was blown away by the size and the atmosphere of the property, it's full of personality with a really gorgeous bathroom. It's very big and in a prime location for travelling to the beach restaurants (10 minute walk). The pool was a good size and although the hot tub didn't exactly work for us, it was still relaxing. Plenty of beds and bedding. Overall a wonderful place that I would stay again."

"Overall we enjoyed the stay at the home I know one of the couples were commenting on the shower in the main bathroom downstairs that they had to stand a long way back as they were short to have a decent shower and water went outside the bath. Our other question was the parkiing permits were expired even though we used them and no fine yet but that did concern me a little but other than that we had a fabulous week thankyou.
