"This hotel definitely deserves the points given. Everything in the villa was very attentive. The bed was incredibly comfortable. I loved the furniture and design of the room and the landscaping around the villas was great. Breakfast was a different experience. You are given a list of what you want for breakfast. You tick what you want off the list and write down what time you want your breakfast delivered. A member of staff will bring your breakfast to your door at that time and it will be served on the veranda in front of your villa or in your room if you wish. As a result, I can say that they have managed to create a hotel that everyone will love."

"This is a wonderful property, in a spacious, natural and peaceful setting, safe and beautiful, set within a grove of olive trees overlooking the gulf. The house was super clean (and there was a regular cleaning service), airy and and full of character. The kitchen is really well equipped and there is a spacious terrace to breakfast on, another magical area to have dinner under the trees and festoon lights and everything feels very well cared for. The private beach on the gulf is picturesque and we mostly had it to ourselves. There are a couple of kayaks and a paddle board that our kids loved. It's so close to Mytilene, yet it doesn't feel that way. You can drive or get a taxi there in 15 minutes and enjoy eating at one of the town's great restaurants and take in the vibrant atmosphere. There is also a taverna a short drive or 15 mins walk, that serves amazing fresh fish on the waterside. And it's a great base to other locations on the southern portion of the island. Alexis and his wife were wonderful hosts, full of information about places to eat and visit and even booking them for us. Of all our family holidays, it is the place we are most likely to revisit.
