"I am very happy to have found this property! Great location for getting to Stirling and EDI. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. The price when compared to other properties was extremely reasonable. We felt we were in a 4 or 5 star castle at normal hotel prices! Would return and hope I get the opportunity "

"My partner and I needed a place to stay on our way up north, and since he grew up near the Hydro, we decided to give it a go. What a good shout! From DoubleTree's classic, warm cookies to the spaciousness of the room, we felt at home and comfortable. The Hydro also oozes Victorian charm and boasts stunning views of the surrounding area. What's not to love? It's actually a shame we didn't stay longer. We're keen to return, especially to try The Kailyard by Nick Nairn. My only issue is that the room door allowed a lot of noise through which was a slight disturbance."

"Hotels.com had bit transferred my payment to the hotel so initially we were not allowed to access our room. Thanks to very helpful manager Matt we who sorted the muddle we were able to get to our room. All fine in the room and friendly welcome."

"Another lovely stay and little break at Kenmore Club. Excellent location for us, despite the intrusion of construction traffic still there after years of work with no indication of how much longer. But this is outwith control of Kenmore Club. Still lovely with amazing sunsets!"

"Loved my stay here. My room was beautiful and spacious with a fantastic view over the gardens to the loch. Very large cosy bed, little seating area and dressing table. The bathroom was bigger than mine at home! Tea and coffee supplies were well stocked as were the complimentary toiletries. Only one drawback - shampoo but no conditioner. All staff so friendly and attentive. Breakfast was divine accompanied by the views. Can’t rate this hotel highly enough. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable, can’t wait to return in the spring. "Gorgeous grounds and surrounding area. Really peaceful and well placed for scenery. Good on sight playing for children and lovely even if you don’t leave the grounds. The apartments are super spacious and love the indoor sauna and hot tub. A little cold and old fashioned but adds charm. Absolutely love coming here with my family for a little break from the city. Hoping to get a chance to visit in the summer because otherwise it’s consistently foggy and damp being right opposite the loch. This, however, is charming and atmospheric if you like that kind of thing. "

"Second time staying as a family in the lodges. Beautiful place, with nice pool and quiet gym area. We did have a bit of an issue with double payment being taken, but this was refunded as soon as we made the manager aware. Meal was nice and very well presented (though we were the only people eating so not much atmosphere). Staff all very professional and polite. Sure we will be back again at some point."
