The rental had everything we needed, from shampoos and bodywash, a plethora of beds and blankets, and within 10 minutes of everywhere we needed to go. Super easy to get in and out. "Nice rental for our larger extended family group. Lake had a lot of algae as of august 2024 so didnt feel great about swimming but enjoyed the kayaks they had. This might just be a bad season for algae. "

"The house is 100+ years old but has been lovingly kept and upgraded! Hosts are amazing and provide everything you’d need except food and your toothbrush! House is in an older quiet neighborhood but restaurants are a short drive or even walk away!"

"This was a surprise stay to celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday. The view of the lake was breathtaking. The house was open, nicely maintained, and inviting. The private chef was wonderful. The hot tub was lovely. It was a delightful way to create a lasting experience that commemorates a milestone for someone so loved. "

"The kitchen lacked several items but luckily we came prepared because we knew we were planning on eating together. The towels were a little rough, however they were thick towels. Lots of space in the bedrooms and the bathrooms. The house was nice and clean. Disappointed that it had a fireplace, but a note hung on it saying not to use it. (It was below freezing outside and had snowed.)"

We didn't have a ton of down time to hang out in the house but there were so many games available and streaming services we had access to which we would have taken advantage of had we had the time. My only (very very small) comment is that there were a few windows/doors/parts of the ceiling that could have been cleaned up more (dust, flies, etc.) but it was so...

The location was perfect for walking to explore the historic downtown and to access the Lift bridge hiking trail.
