"Beautiful, elegant hotel with lovely public rooms, ie bar, restaurant. My room had a great sea view. The wall paper was a little dated, but nothing to worry about. When I ran a bath the water was brown - I guess because of either old pipes or recycled rainwater? But it would have been good to have ..."

Beautiful scenery, I had an water view. A bit musty smelling, had to open windows to air out the room. Wish I would have known about dress attire for dining room.

We didn't intend going into St Austell itself. However, we did watch the Flying Scotsman going through.
