"Honestly cannot fault The Pier House. We stayed for one night for a couples getaway and from check in to check out we were so impressed! The lady who checked us in (I’m gutted we didn’t get her name!) was so friendly, explained everything and showed us to our room. We received a complimentary upgrade and our room was beautiful with a harbour view and everything you could need! Special little touches like the radio on as you entered, a Korev each on the house in the mini fridge, dry robes in case you fancied a walk in the mizzle! In the morning breakfast was plentiful and all of the staff are just so welcoming and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble. We finished our stay with a coffee and a game of Scrabble in the bar area! We only live in Porthleven and came for an event at The Longstore just up the road, but will definitely be back. A little gem! "

"A beautiful and interesting cottage situated in the centre of the village, it’s no more than a couple of minutes walk anywhere. Everything you need is provided, it’s light and airy, clean and well maintained and with great views. This was our second visit and we’ve already booked for next year so, I guess, that says a lot! There’s nothing not to like. "
