Relax in this beautifully restored and renovated 1919 vintage Florida Bungalow while visiting America's oldest city! Located within walking distance of all the downtown attractions, this home is cheerfully bright, and thoughtfully decorated. Happy Bungalow has a very comfortable layout with two queen bedrooms, full kitchen, open dining and living space with a pull-out sofa, large screened front porch, and fenced backyard. You will notice when you step in that every detail has been thought of! Enjoy hardwood floors throughout, clean and cozy furniture, and retro/historic details. Cook "at home" in the fully stocked kitchen, and rest well with crisp white linens and soft bath towels which are provided for you. A morning cup of coffee on the screened front porch will taste great just before heading out to explore.

The convenience of Happy Bungalow can't be beat! It is a 7-8 minute walk to the Visitor's Center and St. George Street, and all of the downtown area including the Fort and riverfront is within a 15-20 minute walk of the home. Hop in your car or on your bike and Vilano Beach or Anastasia Island State Park is just a short 3 mile ride away along with the Ampitheatre, Alligator Farm, and St. Augustine Lighthouse. There is no shortage of an ecclectic mix of fun and local great eateries and bars including Harry's Seafood Bar and Grille and St. Augustine Distillery.

Beautiful place to stay. Was perfect for 6 people. A lot of shops and Restaurants. October is the perfect time to go, it’s still warm with a touch of being cool. I would recommend the nightly Ghost Tour. Will be booking again!

Family Friendly and Perfect Location!
I stayed a long weekend here with my mother, husband, and 1.5 years old son. We loved it! It was the perfect amount of space and easy to put the baby down and still have enough space for us to relax. The two queen beds were comfortable and we brought our own travel crib which fit in one of the bedrooms nicely. The location is amazing!! It was a short walk to the historic district, playground, and the shops/restaurants north of downtown which was great for us in case we wanted to bring the baby back for a nap or for the group to come and go easily. There was even a breakfast/lunch restaurant within 100 yards which does dine-in or take-out if you want to keep things easy. The check-in process was seamless and easy to navigate. The home was very clean and well stocked with essentials for the trip. Kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook, a dishwasher, grill out back, and even laundry machines if needed. There were even beach chairs, beach towels, and kids beach toys! The only thing I would note is the house is within hearing distance of the train tracks so if you are a super light sleeper like I am I would bring a sound machine for the one train that goes by at night but no one else in my group heard it so that might just be me :) The owners provided a lot of communication so I never had any questions about the property or how to check-in/check-out. We will DEFINITELY be staying here again on our next trip to St. Augustine!

Cute, comfortable bungalow nicely equipped. Last house on the street so tended to be noisy from constant traffic and floors got very dusty if door was left open. Issue with TV was handled efficiently.

Sweet Bungalow
Love the house . It was a perfect size and very clean and adorable . Loved that we could walk to downtown very quickly and easily. Such a sweet block . The house was a little bit too close to US 1 main highway so noise level was loud especially from the bedrooms while sleeping at night. Also we recommend darkening shades / blinds in bedrooms to block out highway / restaurant / parking lot street lights . Bedrooms were to lit up at night even when you close the blinds. Also they could supply more than 2 rolls of toilet paper especially if staying for 5 days . We appreciated plenty of towels and beach towels and chairs/umbrella, etc… That was so helpful. Communication was great and check in and check out were easy. Thank you , we enjoyed St.Augustine very much.

Great Weekend
We had a great visit to Happy Bungalow. It was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could want to cook meals. Keurig and a coffee maker! Comfortable living room furniture. Close to town and everything you want for a walking vacation. The only downside, and the reason for the rating of 4/5, is there is a need for black-out or at least room-darkening curtains in the bedrooms. The parking lot lights next door make it look like daylight all night long in the bedrooms. We had a wonderful time in the adorable cottage and appreciate the efforts to make the kitchen so "usuable" as we like to cook a few meals ourselves while on vacation! Thank you!

More than expected.
I didn’t know the area real well when I booked the reservation and wasn’t 100% sure what to expect. But let me tell you, first thing I noticed was how clean the house was. As I looked up the attractions we wanted to attend, they were located only a 1/2 mile walk. What an amazing location in what appeared to be a relatively safe area. This place is a “yes” for me and I would definitely book here again. I also enjoyed the communication with the property manager as they supplied a video on how things in the house worked and accommodated an early arrival, which I found to be generous.

Loved our charming little bugalow! It was just right for our stay— a short walk to the beautiful downtown area and a quick drive to Villano beach. Fabulous location, off street parking, walk to most all St Augustine sights. Full kitchen has all utensils and small appliances to make most any meal you would want to have. Screened porch is wonderful for morning coffee and evening drinks. Lots of games for rainy day in door activity. Washer and dryer a big plus! Communication was clear and accurate. Recommend location

Loved that we could walk to the town and Castillo. House was clean and comfortable, enjoyed the front porch. Only one problem: The vacant lot next door had very bright lights that shined into the bedrooms all night long. If it were not for that this would have been 5 stars.
