Built in 1821, this classic Cornish cottage in a quiet village just outside St Agnes is well-suited for families and groups of couples. A beautiful property with traditional granite walls and wooden floorboards, this cottage has all the elements of classic Cornish architecture. Situated just outside St Agnes, it is perfectly suited for a family or group getaway enjoying local beaches and attractions. There is free parking on the drive for 2 cars, or perhaps 3 with a squeeze!
The Space:
The bright, spacious lounge area with Wi-Fi, smart TV & HIFI system is perfect for chilling out after a long day at the beach, plus there is an additional lounge with second TV - great for kids!
The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you could need. Sleeps up to 6 with downstairs double bedroom, upstairs double and a bunk bed, which is suitable only for children. Also has large garden with seating.
The cottage sleeps up to 5 across 3 bedrooms. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and bunk room opposite with a double on the bottom and single on top. These two rooms share a bathroom on the same level. The third bedroom is downstairs, so has step free access, and has a bathroom adjacent to it.
The lounge is bright and spacious with a sofa and armchair as well as a smart TV and HIFI system. There is also a second lounge adjacent to the kitchen with another smart TV - perfect for entertaining the kids for when you need a bit of peace and quiet! The kitchen is also well equipped with all the essentials, appliances and cooking utensils you should need.
Furthermore, there is also a large outdoor space with patio seating, BBQ, garden and picnic bench. Perfect for relaxing on summer evenings with an outdoor meal and a drink or two!
Dogs allowed with fee of £20/dog. Max 2.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire property and garden.
The Neighborhood:
Goonbell is a quiet village just outside St Agnes, with shops, cafes and pubs very close by. There are also 3 beaches within 10 minutes drive! These are Porthtowan beach, also with lots of nice cafes and pubs, St Agnes beach and the quiet and secluded Trevellas Cove.
Getting Around:
Given the remote nature of Cornwall, a vehicle is recommended for getting around.
Other Things to Note:
Please note, our neighbours opposite the road are currently building a new house, there will be some noise during the next few months whilst this is under construction.
