"I was really unhappy about the state of the cottage. It was once clearly a lovely cottage. Nicely decorated with quality fittings. But it was dirty and grubby. Starting at the front door. Weeds at the doorstep, dirty windows, cobwebs, grubby carpets, marked walls, dirty coasters, unopened mail in piles, filthy kitchen cupboard shelves, cupboards under stairs full of dirt and untidy, kitchen under sink filthy and stinking, back garden full of weeds, absolutely disgustingly filthy velvet...

"A beautiful little cottage very clean and cosy. The main problem was the bathroom downstairs. The stairs were wooden and steep so not suitable for an elderly person. The door frames were low which could be awkward if you were tall. Check out time was 9am which was a bit tight if you wanted to leave it clean and tidy the normal time is 10 am"

"The farm that the hut was located in was great. Lots of animals around and it was really fun feeding the alpacas! Host was friendly and accommodating. Overall a great getaway from the city. The directions could have been clearer, thereā€™s no mention that I could see of the farms name however this was quickly resolved by a 1 minute phone call to the host. "
