"The only disappointing things about the Halifax Hall Hotel in Sheffield was that we were only there one night. Lovley room and bathroom both spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly and it created a lovley atmosphere. Enjoyed drinks in the bar before having a great meal in the restaurant. Breakfast was just as good. Lots of choice and the quality of the food and presentation was excellent. We just found the hotel a little hard to find, maybe a sign at the bottom of the drive saying Halifax Hotel where the sign says Halifax Hall Conference rooms would help. Would definatley recommend this hotel."

"We were staying for the weekend for our anniversary and got a free upgrade mentioned upon checking in which was a great surprise considering when booking the girl said she would write on the mirror and get some balloons etc to mark the occasion! The room was huge and presented nicely with the little touches added by the staff. We only found the time to enjoy the spa facilities on the first day but enjoyed the pool and the hot tub and the steam room! The last day of our stay, we booked room service breakfast using the doorknob card provided. It arrived between the requested times and was still hot it was a great way to end the stay.
