We chose this location due to having family in Wisconsin and Iowa.The home had the right number of bedrooms and bathrooms, the kitchen was very nice with every appliance and gadget we needed. "Truly a "getaway" in a peaceful setting. Host is nearby, if needed, in a beautiful historic farmhouse, but our stay felt quite "private" nonetheless. Very spacious lodgings in The Shouse would easily accommodate larger family groups. TV viewing space and game-playing space for all. "
