Renovated charmer in the heart of Decorah’s Park District

This charming craftsman style home is the perfect vacation spot for your family to enjoy all that Decorah and the surrounding area has to offer. This home is located on a quiet street less than a block from Phelps Park and 4 blocks to downtown Decorah. When you first arrive you'll find a large front porch to enjoy coffee from Impact or Mill Street Mocha in the morning, ice cream from Whippy Dip or Sugar Bowl in the afternoon and a Pulpit Rock or Toppling Goliath beer in the evening. The entire home has recently been renovated, including new kitchen and both baths. Three comfortable bedrooms rooms and large bath on the 2nd level. Laundry provided in the basement for your use. Private back yard with fire pit. Off street parking for up to four vehicles.

The house is freshly updated and the accommodations were perfect for our family with (5) adults. We loved the front porch for gaming, hanging and dining. It is close to the downtown and the area had plenty to do for our four days.

Very comfortable stay close to downtown
My friends spent a long weekend in this house and enjoyed every minute. The house is indeed charming, balancing the character of the original house with modern updated bathrooms and kitchen. The neighborhood is quiet, and the location is perfect: an easy walk to downtown, and just blocks from access to the Trout Run Trail. The owners were cordial and easy to work with and answered our questions immediately. The best feature for us was the covered front porch, where we were able to relax and play board games, even during a rain shower. Highly recommend this property!
