"I have been remiss in providing this review as it has been several months since our stay. That is not a reflection on the property or the host. We had a great weekend and the property is wonderful. Amenities all there, good communication, painless check in/check out. The interior of the home exceeded expectations from the listing, but the lake has been affected by the drought. Consequently the view is of a beautiful green valley and hills rather than the water. Nonetheless it did not impair our enjoyment of the property or the time away. Thanks to the host for sharing their wonderful property."

"Beautiful home in a quiet area. The patio offers amazing views as well. We did not get to use the pool, it had turned a little cooler and the water was chilly, at least to me. Very well stocked. The kitchen had all the appliances and anything you need for serving/cooking. Spacious house and the 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was perfect for our stay. Loved the master bedroom sleep number bed! You won’t go wrong staying here "

"We booked this house for a business retreat as we are a fully remote company and our employees are located all over the country. The house was beautiful and accommodated us well. The only complaint I have, and it is minor, is that there were bugs in one of the tubs and when we reached out to the phone number we had, it was and automated response and nothing was done about it. However, I would absolutely book this house again if ever in this area again. That one tiny issue would not keep me from coming back. The pros definitely outweighed the cons. "

"My stay surpassed my expectations! This little cabin it's beautiful! Expect the unexpected. The owners thought about every little detail for you to be comfortable. What they call the main house it's a common area where the luxury restrooms are, a comfortable living room, a well equipped kitchen, plus everything you need as if you were at home. I loved the art hanging on walls everywhere, including my cabing, it gives the place a taestful feeling for sure. I went while weather still hot so not able to enjoy the outdoors much, plus I was visiting vineyards around (great ones not far away, and 40 minutes to Frederisburg), not really glamping, but I’m going to try to go back on the fall because you have it all outside, grills, campfire pits, comfortable and surprising seating areas. I'm sure this place it's very enjoyable on the fall also. The owner is very kind and showed me and my friend staying in another cabin, the property around, his animals, their special Christmas store in the entrance, which his wife runs, we also saw other cabins and RVs, and each of them is completely different, and also taestfully decorated by owners, they are just amazing inside. It was a really enjoyable stay. I highly recommend!"

"This lovely home was a fantastic meeting place for my family gathering. We liked the privacy of the location, spaciousness of the home, and the pool. We found that arriving mid-week, the pool needed some cleaning and the hot tub was not working. We cleaned the pool to get it to our liking, and someone was out to fix the hot tub after the holiday. We did quite a bit of cooking and would have found some kitchen towels and hot pads helpful, as there were none. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this home so much!"
