"We stayed here for almost a week. The property is conveniently located a little over 10 minutes off the highway, in a valley right next to the river. The house was clean, cozy, and we had plenty of room. The back deck overlooks the river and is nice to unwind on at the end of the day. The adjacent General Store had everything we forgot to bring and much more, in case you need a pound of nails, bison burger, a sweatshirt, and a fantastic milkshake. The owners were always responsive to answer...

"Very quite place way back from noise and business of city life. We were very busy with what we were doing but the campground around us looked peaceful. The cabin seemed newly built and had new furnishings. The only thing that was missing was a normal sized shower. The shower was very tiny and for the money it was overpriced. Other than that it was a good deal. "

"Overall, this was a great house for our needs. We had 4 adults and 4 young kids. The house was very clean and the property manager was readily available for all our questions and even swung by the house when we had trouble with the AC. The views are stunning and we enjoyed seeing cows roam across the property. The couple downsides that kept this from a 5 star review. "The place was great except we booked it because it had a hot tub. The site has not been updated they no longer have one. The pool was great tho. The rooms are roomy and beds are very comfortable. "

Romantic Rustic Roost in Woodland Paradise

A night of memories

"My wife and I stayed a night on our way through WV to Kentucky, had an awesome time! The host was super helpful with any questions and with anything needed, he had the charcoal grill ready to be used and a fire pit ready to go. He even was a great help mailing my wife’s kindle home after it accidentally got left behind. The trail to the falls was fun to adventure through, the dogs came along as tour guides and even showed you the best way to go! If you’re looking for a secluded, cozy, nature filled camping get away this is the spot for you!! 10/10 would stay there again!"
