"The home is a decent distance off the highway but the scenery you'll see while driving to it are gorgeous. On the first day, we saw 3 deer and 2 rabbits! The driveway is very steep and made of gravel, so keep that in mind when choosing what vehicle to bring. If it has been raining, your tires may slip a bit going up. "The listing states "step back in time" and that certainly sets the tone. If you are looking for a place to stay where peace and nature are the main features, look no further. Nice accommodations, plenty of heat sources to help you stay warm, kitchen is fairly well stocked with pots, pans, spices, oils to help make meals with. I personally loved the that there was a new kitchen sponge waiting for me (it's the little things). Back porch is covered with a tin roof. We sat out there for over an hour...
