"This home was in an ideal location to venture out to various sites. Everything you need for your stay was there. Although the stairway going upstairs was narrow, we were aware from other reviews about it. I am over 6’ tall so the double beds weren’t ideal but we still slept well. "We’ve been to Newfoundland several times and this time we didn’t want to stay in a different place every night. Because of its location we could do day trips in different locations. This house was so cute. The owner thought of every little detail to make our stay comfortable. She personalized it with a Happy Anniversary banner. We loved our stay here!"

The owners live upstairs and have small children, which would have perhaps been a good thing to know in the listing. Could hear walking around and small children fairly early in the mornings, which is understandable. Was just a bit difficult the very first morning after getting in on fairly late flight after travelling 2 days. It was not horrible...

"We stayed at Harry's Place for two months and cried when we left. It is like staying with Nan and Grandpa if they had updated appliances. It feels warm, secure, and comforting. The property managers live right next door and are very helpful but not obtrusive. We enjoyed the deck with the view of the harbor and mountains in the distance, but what was best was the view from the world's most comfortable couch where you could look out at the ever-changing weather.
