"To begin with, the residence is one of the best we've ever stayed in. The home is warm, charming and eclectic while being up to date with every convenience. We felt so welcomed by the towns people that we were able to join right in with the local activities - very fun, indeed. If you never leave Norman's Cove, there's plenty to do with several hiking trails and endless shores to wander. We found a jut of rock over the water just North of the cove where we could watch the whales come in at dinner...

The owners live upstairs and have small children, which would have perhaps been a good thing to know in the listing. Could hear walking around and small children fairly early in the mornings, which is understandable. Was just a bit difficult the very first morning after getting in on fairly late flight after travelling 2 days. It was not horrible...

"This home was in an ideal location to venture out to various sites. Everything you need for your stay was there. Although the stairway going upstairs was narrow, we were aware from other reviews about it. I am over 6’ tall so the double beds weren’t ideal but we still slept well. I was already aware of the double beds before we arrived. We only had our breakfasts there so we didn’t use the kitchen for our other meals. The owner, Jeff responded quickly to a question we had.
