"I never recieved check in info from host. No response to msgs. Called vrbo placed on hold 30 minutes. Was never able to check in. I was not able to check in Vrbo ask about cleanliness on survey and it has to be answered. I don’t know if it was clean or not "

"Our host Kayva was very accommodating with responses to my questions regarding directions to the house and extra towels needed for us. However, we did have issues with the low water pressure during showers and washing our hands. We saw quite a few roaches running around that created excitement in a bad way for us. And the address given for the place was a challenge for the 3 different taxi cab drivers to get to. The upside is that the Air Conditioning was cool and nice. I would suggest that guests know in advance that they will need to bring wash cloths and towels. And the water tanks should be filled in advance. "

"When we first arrive we was greeted by Mrs Bernice who was absolutely wonderful and accommodating! Her hospitality exceeded my expectations. Better than the resort we stayed at! The breakfast was wonderful, and she offer dinner. Food was amazing. I will always stay here when I come to Portmore. Thank you Mrs Bernice"

"By far the worst rental Ive ever booked. We booked for 11/6-11/12 during a trip to bury my aunt. I contacted the host to let her know that our flight would be landing at 3am Thurs morning. She asked if someone could pick up the keys. When we arrived after 4am, already exhausted, we get upstairs and the keys did not work. We had to wait almost an hour for the host to bring the correct keys. When we were finally able to get into the apartment, we were met with shock & confusion. The air conditioner pictured in the living room, did not exist. After further inspection, there were no garbage bags, no dish soap, the ice machine in the refrigerator did not work, there were ants everywhere, the toilet in the master bathroom leaked brown water, the bathroom smelled & the door is rotting on the inside. We used only the other toilet. On 11/8, we tried to enter the gate, the security guard informed us that they were not allowed to let us in. I was beyond confused, as our belongings were upstairs. Apparently, there was some kind of miscommunication over monthly payments between the building & the host. The host was unresponsive when we reached out to her and the situation continued until the day we checked out. We felt unsafe a majority of the trip having to argue with security for 4 days to get in and out of the gate, while having my daughter and elderly mother with me. I reached out Expedia and they did not offer any solution. This rental should not be allowed on their platform."
