"The staff at Il Nocchiero are very friendly and helpful. We stayed for 5 nights in a corner room with wrap around deck which was lovely. The location is perfect for walking to the beach and to restaurants. Breakfast was sumptuous with many options. A big plus was the private parking which made it easy for taking day trips. We had a great experience and would highly recommend!"

"First off let me say that this is an very good hotel. A lovely old building that is tastefully renovated in an old Italian style. The surrounding gardens and pool are also lovely. HOWEVER it is located in a town called Soverato which is a somewhat deserted (in mid Sept) little dirty place that consists of about 80 tower blocks that look like they were put up in a hurry 20 years ago. There were virtually no restaurants open and the ones that were seemed sorry to have the business. The beaches in...

"First time in Calabria, visiting some native friends of the region. The outside was well kept. We loved the open layout of the inside. Kitchen had all the essentials. The owner of the place Eliano was very responsive to any concern/issue we had. Gave a very detailed list of things/need to knows before check-in and just over all a great guy. If we are ever back in Calabria we will defiantly consider staying here again!"
