"We loved our stay at Effect Lodge. Our room overlooked the back side of the property, including the pool. Great views and an open feel in our large room. The host was so gracious and helpful. She recommended public transportation for our visit to Old Lyon, and it worked out perfectly. She also provided direction in getting our laundry taken care of. In many ways, staying at Effect felt like being at home. Highly recommend this property!"

"The website said that the location was "Behind the Maire in Savigny". We came off the A89 to head south to Savigny. After traversing many farm tracks and minor roads eventually ending up at Savigny. We could not find the address there behind the Mārie and in desperation rang Madame Boisel for directions from the centre of Savigny. "The Residhome Lyon Gerland had large one bedroom. The bed was quite comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We faced the inner courtyard and the room was quiet. There are cafes and a grocery store across the street. Subway is right outside hotel. Good value."
