"This is an older facility - the room is small, but clean. The staff is wonderful. Parking was free on the street. Our room faced the harbor - beautiful - even with lousy weather. Not much open at night due to poor weather. We managed to fine a good pub. Breakfast was wonderful!"

"Everything about the Lynwood House was wonderful! The room was beautiful, with a sitting area and a brand new on suite bathroom. There was a kettle for tea, a hair dryer, and a television. The bed was extremely comfortable and the views from the room are unmatched. Peter was so warm and welcoming, providing a bit of history and directing us to the best places in the town. "Stayed here one night in preparation for the boat trip to Skellig Michael which was sadly cancelled the next day due to rough seas and high winds. However, this was a lovely little place and we had a very pleasant stay. "This property was perfect! We were a group of 5, so we utilized the apart hotel. It was spacious and clean, allowed us to have communal space and private sleeping. Dining at the restaurant was fantastic. Jason was our server and he was amazing. Food was great, only a short 10 min walk to the Muckross Abbey and a breath taking lake. Hotel views bolstered mountains in the morning. Wonderful staff, we did not have time to utilize the spa but it looked beautiful. "
