"Perfect location for Acadia and Maine coast sightseeing. Right on the main drag in Blue Hill, with a busy coffee shop on the doorstep, which was great for us. Very quiet at night, however. The house is renovated, but still has historic charm. Clean, comfortable, and roomy for three adults, with direct access across the street to a trail that goes up Blue Hill."

"This is a lovely property. It was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace and sitting out on the deck looking at the pond. We choose this place because it was very close to the entrance to Acadia National Park. Beautiful views and quiet!"

"Great location - short drive to shopping and outdoor adventuring activities. Comfortable accommodations. Very private lot. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house during our stay, but the sunsets are amazing and it was fun to walk around near the shore during low tide. Beautiful views from the sunroom and main upstairs bedroom. I would recommend this place to friends and family in the future. "

"We ended up finding this location at the very last minute. IT WAS PERFECT! There was a snafu with our VRBO reservation and we were unable to get in. Once we hopped onto Hotels.com and did a search for something a family of 5 could stay in near Bar Harbor during the busiest time for the area, this house in Acadia popped up. "My family had a wonderful stay in this house. Between hiking in the Schoodic Peninsula, visiting Bar Harbor, and soaking up the view from Cadillac Mountain, we loved swinging on the porch swing, having coffee on the front porch, and relaxing around the dinner table.
