"Wow! Can’t say enough good things about this place. So quaint and comfortable, the entire house is filled with antiques that were so interesting! The bedrooms are spacious and comfy. The breakfast was phenomenal Sausage casserole, French toast, eggs anyway you like… the innkeeper was so kind and took care of every last detail.. honestly can’t wait for a return visit! Oh and her puppy Rocky was just icing on the cake "

"The second best mistake I’ve made! I was trying to book in Clarksburg WV, but booked Clarksville by mistake. I decided to go anyway as the place looked so charming. We had a great stay and loved the place. The proximity to Clarksville made dining easy. The rooms in this genuinely historic building were gorgeous and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was amazing. Highly recommended!"

"John was the consummate host in this lovely BNB. We had more than plenty of room to move around. The location was just close enough to get to a handful of restaurants and shops with a quick drive but the neighborhood was also walkable and quiet at night. John gave us plenty of good ideas for a day trip and nearby sights."

"It was a nice setting, although I was on the move a lot so didn't have a chance to stay long and enjoy the house more. The house is close to an amazing restaurant called the Molasses Grill in Halifax."

"The cabin/location/ is an amazing place to stay, furnished with everything you need and some and the cleanliness was exceptional. David the host (promptly) answered any questions I may have had about the place before my arrival. The outdoor area is awesome along with plenty of firewood for the fire pit. I also enjoyed the neighbor that played the bagpipes at 5pm every afternoon that we were there. Just an amazing place Thank you David."

"We arrived fairly early Friday afternoon and were stunned by the views from the condo as well as the condo itself. Everything was nicely put together, the owner supplied a lot of useful information and the whole establishment was peaceful and quite. The whole stay was very restful. As someone who likes to cook, the kitchen was amazing; I only have two suggestions. The first is main kitchen outlet, it’s overloaded and if it doesn’t throw the breaker, it may well short. "I travel a lot, and sometimes when I am driving later at night, I simply want a clean hotel where I can get some sleep, a hot shower, and get back on the road. This hotel is exactly that. AC worked great, TV channels seemed to be a bit limited, but then again I was tired so I only had it on a few minutes. I slept very well, beds/pillows were comfortable. Shower had plenty of hot water. For what I was wanting, this honestly was perfect. I will definitely stay here again in the future if I need a hotel in this part of the world. Easy access to 95 N/S. There are a couple of gas stations and restaurants right there."
