"The hotel room was very clean and fresh smelling. And the hotel overall was kept very clean. I had a great view of the ocean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The 5pm complimentary wine and cheese was nice. I liked that they had free beach chairs for use. The towels were nice a fluffy too. Parts of the grout and sealant in the bathroom were a bit dated. My only compliant were the pillows. They were lumpy and uncomfortable and if you don't like firm mattresses, you wont like the beds. "

"From 4th floor there was ocean view. Good access to beach. Parking was easy. Room was clean and spacious. Price was reasonable. "

"Booked a 2 day Friday-Sunday stay for a weekend fishing trip. And I have to say for the price I was actually pretty impressed. I had a better stay here then I have had at $400 a night hotels. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were awesome. Air conditioner, and heat worked like it should. Had great beach access right behind the hotel. Only thing I wish I did different was getting an Ocean view room. But we’ll definitely get one the next time I go down in a couple of weeks!! And the best thing about it all was every employee was polite and very helpful"

"We stay here because of the Tiki Bar.we could have stayed at a nicer more updated facility for close to the same amount, but having a Tiki Bar really does make this feel like a clarion. We like not having to drive or leave the premise once in awhile for food and drink. We are excited that there will be a second Tiki Bar this summer where the longer chairs used to be. The food is excellent and they have an excellent selection of wine, beer and spirits. We were in one of the rooms that hasn’t been updated it seems. Older faucet styles and sink, worn office chair and sloppy job with up keep as far as grout and other maintenance. The bed was comfortable as well as the linens. I would have liked to have had soup lessons especially since it was a double queen oceanfront room. We usually stay here two to three times a year in a King Ocean Front. There were none avail e for a short weekend stay. That was disappointing as often as we stay here. I don’t know if we are signed up for Wyndam rewards but we should be I guess. I wo der if that would have made a difference. New air conditioner units by Trane were welcomed compared to the noisy old ones from last year. We could actually hear the ocean WITH the air conditioner on. It would be nice of there were an option for a walk in shower. I almost tripped stepping over the tub. This place would be 9-10 stars if they offered that. I prefer a K-cup coffee maker do the ground don’t get into your cup. All in all, it still is our favorite."
