"This is a great property. Peaceful, surrounded by fields & forests, birds singing, and fresh air. Wonderful parks and trails near by. Dan was a great host. I want to come back and stay in the fall and winter. This would also be a great place for a family get away"

"We had our annual extended family get away here vs staying in northern MN or Wisc. We all enjoyed how close it was to our actual homes (MPLS and St Paul) and were impressed with all the amenities, like towels, soap, toilet paper. Past experience we’ve had properties that only leave you one roll of toilet paper (example). The fire pit was wonderful and the host responsive when we had a request. We would definitely come back again! "

"Weather was better than good for autumn in Minnesota, lots of trails to walk, only disappointment was the main reason we went down, to check out the Maritime Art Museum, not impressed."

"This is a gorgeous property with beautiful views, thoughtfully designed and artfully executed. There is plenty of space for a large gathering - we were 17, including 8 kids ages 4 - 15. There are many different hang out areas, so you never feel like you are on top of one another. We cooked most days, and the kitchen was well supplied and functioned well. The basement is great, especially for kids and teens (and adults who want to play). We had some crazy ping pong games, learned country line...

"This is a very comfortable, cozy cottage with all the amenities one could want Every detail has been thoughtfully considered so that guests feel special and spoiled. The coffee bar and drawer was a real treat. We also really enjoyed the outdoor firepit complete with s'more fixings. The quiet location is perfect for a relaxing stay and close to many shops, winery and restaurants too."

"Perfect for a long weekend with four generations of families. We jumped on the trampoline, used the hot tub, made many meals, and played games on the large table. Loved that they had everything for kids including a huge toy closet!! Will be back!"
