"This place was so cute. It was super clean and I loved how the historical parts of the house remained while making it modern at the same time. It had everything that we needed for the stay. The bathroom is a bit small, but no problem for a vacation stay. The beds were comfortable and although it was very cold while we were there, the house was toasty. I hope that it will be available when we are back in Mars Hill again. "

"My husband and I were married on this property and words cannot adequately express just how perfect this place was! We had 16 of our family and friends stay on the property, with another 17 guests in attendance at the actual wedding. We had our rehearsal dinner here as well as our reception and everything was PERFECT. The house had plenty of room for everyone and was beautifully decorated and adequately supplied with everything we needed! We honestly did not decorate much outside of what decor was already being used in the house because everything was so beautifully done. We were told MULTIPLE times by many of our guests how perfect this place was! And don't get us started on the spa located on the property!! This was one of our favorite spots - for both us AND our guests! The cold plunges were one of the highlights of our visit! We had never done this before and, on the morning of our wedding, decided to give it a try and it was AMAZING! You've got to try the plunges if you stay on this property. The sauna and swim spa were big hits too. The weather was even nice enough for us to give the paddle boat a whirl! If you choose to stay on this property, there really is no need to go anywhere else. We loved every minute here and hope to one day return - maybe with friends for a nice getaway! The owners were incredibly helpful, responsive, and very lovely to work with! I would give more than 5 stars if I could. This place was simply perfect for our wedding. BOOK IT!"

"The home was clean and comfortable - a great place to rest after 2 days spent volunteering. We weren't able to get the Keurig to work. Also we suggest heavier curtains in one bedroom to keep outside light out at night. Other than those 2 areas, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would highly recommend it to others."

"We were not prepared for the WOW factor of this home! The amenities were many, the beds were sumputuous, the kitchen had every gadget/utensil a chef could imagine and the decor was cozy/modern/rustic/chic. We felt at home as soon as we opened our eyes on our first full day. Make sure you plan to spend some quality time AT THE HOUSE to take advantage of the hot tub, sauna, shuffleboard, infinity table, ping pong table, and cozy nooks for reading. During our 7 day stay, cut short by Helene :(, we only left a few times for dining, tours or walks around Asheville. Grocery store is close by with a great selection of food for cooking at home! If you want to totally relax and truly get away from it all, this is the place! Nik was incredible to communicate with, very prompt. We had many questions when we arrived about light switches, wifi connectivity, and how to use some technology and he was right on it! "

"The property was great to host my full family to celebrate my mom's 85th birthday. Plenty of room for everybody to get together, and room to get away when needed. We did have minor plumbing issue, but when it was reported, someone came out right away to take care of it. The second kitchen on the lower level is a plus. Having family/living rooms on each floor was nice."
