"We loved this cute little place in the quiet town of Mars Hill, just a few minutes from a college town with restaurants and shops, and also close to a big grocery store (Ingles). It's also very close to the highway so easy access to Asheville. My wife and I had a great time staying here in during our visits to Asheville."

"My family and I have stayed in this house many times over the four years our daughter was attending MHU. Perfect location, very clean and we love the outside deck and front porch. Only negative is it’s only one bathroom but all the positives out way that for us! Love the Apple House! "

"We chose this property for our 45 people micro-wedding and family reunion. It was a wonderful venue and place to stay. We had our ceremony in the garden of the Stines House and reception at the Stable. I constantly communicated with Amy until the weekend of our stay and I communicated with Joe throughout my stay. They are wonderful hosts and were very helpful and communicative throughout the whole process."

Great house in a great location.

"The home is located in a quiet peaceful small town. It is about 25 minutes from Ashville which was very convenient. The home is located just minutes from a grocery store and several family owned resturants.The host answered all of my questions very quickly and the check in and out process was very simple. We stayed with several other families and the house was large enough that we each had our own seperate bedrooms with independant temperature controls.The arcade games and ping pong tables were great for entertaining the children. Three grills and a great stove was greatly appreciated and made cooking on vacation easy and fun.A unique home with plenty of amenities. restaurants. "

"This spot is magical. I already loved the Weaverville and Mars Hill area, but this spot made me love it so much more. This property was clean, and so well maintained. The property owner is so sweet. I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone that’s good to be off the beaten path and enjoys the mountains. "

"This is the third time our church has rented the property in some capacity from Joe and it is always a joy being there. Joe is the ideal host, readily available, quick to respond, and extending warmth and welcome. We always recommend going to his food truck on the property too--delicious BBQ! Cannot recommend Joe as a host or this property highly enough. Truly a joy to stay there every time!"

"We stayed at Twin Willows in Mars Hill, NC at Cascade Cottage and had the best time. It was absolutely amazing and beautiful. I would definitely recommend staying there. Smokin’Joe Lasher food truck was the best, he can definitely cook! Delicious! We will definitely stay here again and I highly recommend Twin Willows and stay at Cascade Cottage.."
