"Truly stellar pool with three areas of different depths. This allowed children to play more freely while parents enjoyed the pool. Only complaint was limited food options with highly variable quality. Note this area of Placencia has lots of sea grass and sargassum that washes up on the beaches daily. So depending on your level of comfort swimming in and around it, you may not be able to use the ocean. When it decays it smells heavily of sulfur. "

"What can I say about Angel’s Landing…the house was everything as described and more. Angela and Phil met us upon check in with hugs and big smiles. Four women on our first girls trip did not disappoint. The beds were comfortable, the ac worked amazing, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The hosts will give you suggestions on good restaurants, tours and anything you need. They were super fast to respond.The pool was so inviting and relaxing (we left floats for the next guests). Plenty of lounge chairs and places to sit. We did not get in the Caribbean due to the seaweed (normal this time of year) and roughness of the water. Shopping in Placencia Village is a must! So many quaint shops run by the locals and many bargains to be found. We actually drove up there every day!The airport is just over a 2 hour drive, but there are “hopper” flights you can take; however, it is approximately an hour drive from the Placencia airport, so I would suggest renting a car and enjoying the sights.You cannot go wrong with Angels Landing! I can say with 100% certainty that I will stay there again when I return to Belize!"

"This is a gem! The rooms are comfortable and clean, just as pictured. We stayed in the travelers roost; and I really like the space and distance upstairs from the other rooms. the property is very cute, and well maintained. The staff is so helpful and accommodating! I would stay here again. The only thing that is mentioned on their site is their restaurant isn’t open for dinner everyday."

"We had a wonderful stay in the seafront villa at Jaguar Reef. All of the staff we encountered were great. It was very nice that you were able to schedule your housekeeping anytime between 8am - 8pm as to not interrupt your day. Julio was great making sure we were well cared for, whether it was a room service order, or a maintenance request, he was responsive on WhatsApps within minutes. My husband and I enjoyed a great, relaxing 5 nights at Jaguar Reef and plan on returning again in December. This was our first time in Hopkins Belize but certainly won't be our last!"
