"The hotel was in a good location. The room was quiet nice and clean. The carpet did smell a little musty. The bed was so comfortable. The parking was good although it was difficult getting the gate to lift to get out. I just pressed the help button after the second day. I would return to the Sandman. One note it did snow and the grounds were not cleard off and the sidewalk was scary my husband had a walker."

"This is a 2-star motel (albeit it says Hotel). Great for a pitstop (and lower cost). However, the rooms, despite being smoke free, due to the doors opening to the outside, it is clear alot of smoke comes back in rooms, or guests "smoke" in the doorway. In my case, there were still glasses of water with cigarette butts by the street door, that smelled - and only adds to the problem with wanting to air out your room. The service was great... but the property is definitely in bad shape. And...
