"The property has been refreshed pretty nicely. I used to take my grandma there 20 years ago so I was hopeful it wouldn’t be worn down- they have remodeled and it felt clean and nice. The main problem was the elevator didn’t work and so we carried our luggage up 3 flights. The balcony and view were worth it. The beds, linens, carpet and finishing all felt new and clean. The free breakfast was actually very good; biscuits and gravy, sausage, etc. The small TV needs work- we were able to watch HBO but couldn’t see what was on the channels or change channels. Overall- I’ll stay there again- it was clean and easy access to the beach was great "

"Overall had a great stay, the room was large and very clean. Good beds and shower, it is an older property so aspects are kinda dated but still a solid place to stay. It is near the water treatment facility in town so outside can be kinda smelly but didn't notice the smell inside. Doesn't appear to have a restaurant any more and breakfast is just granola bars and apples but that is atleast something. Definitely would stay again if back in the area."

"The refurb was great, rooms were really great and bathrooms as well. Shame not closer to restaurant's as had to drive. Both days the breakfast was poorly stocked and really needs someone to keep an eye on it regularly rather than waiting for customers to ask!!!"
