"It was a quick sleep and shower stay on the way to Norfolk cruise terminal. Great stay as usual for Hampton. The hotel is under construction/remodel and it’s obvious. It did not impact our stay in any way but we are also not picky people and go with the flow as long as it’s comfortable beds, hot showers and clean rooms. Will stay here again for our next cruise!"

"This property is located in a very convenient place for our purposes. The first floor restaurant is very good, particularly the evening options. Restaurant staff is also excellent, friendly and professional. Service to the room was somewhat disappointing. We stayed for four days and after the second day, expected to receive clean towels and replenished amenities, neither of which was provided. Otherwise, a very good stay."

"We were staying for my father’s funeral at no point was this mentioned to the staff. At every turn the staff was friendly, attentive and efficient. Duke at the front desk made check-in a breeze and had a great manner with children which was a welcome surprise for a mama wrangling 3 kids and weary from travel.
