"This is the second time of staying here, for the Christmas Market. We had a deluxe double room, which is in the quiet annexe behind the main building, and on the ground floor. It's close to the city centre, within a couple of minutes you're at the Minster. Lots of places to eat and drink very close by. Staff/owner friendly and helpful. Bottles of water in the room, and a lovely small bottle of Prosecco, as well as the usual tea and coffee and biscuits. Look forward to staying again next year."

"2 adults and 3 young kids so finding a hotel that accommodates all in one room is difficult but I found this little gem. We had a room with one double bed and 3 single beds. Beds really comfortable, room very clean. Tea and coffee making facilities and a mini fridge with bottles of water provided. "Such a convenient location - the bus stop across the street, and a short taxi ride to the airport. We got there after dark so couldn't see the beautiful building.... The rooms were clean, large and well laid out. There was a kettle too. We had dinner there and the service and food were wonderful. "Very smart accomodation, rooms very well presented with great decor. Very comfortable beds and good bathrooms. Very friendly owners and a simple and effective check in and out. Nice location in Fulford, on the edge of York centre and plenty of good pubs and restaurants in short walking distance."
