Please note, due to the layout, loft areas may feel warmer, but thoughtful cooling solutions are in place to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Our property that we normally stay in was damaged in the recent snows so this year we had to make other arrangements. We loved, loved staying here. The place was clean, it had everything we needed, even if we didn’t find it for a couple of days. The management staff was easy to get ahold of, very friendly. My husband and I will be back.

Centrally located, beautiful appointed studio condo. The bed was very comfortable and that's saying something with two people with bad backs. Kithen was well stocked with anything you might need and then some. I feel the owners put a lot of thought into making this property a home away from home for guests.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The studio looks exactly like in the photos, cozy and comfy, perfect for 2 people. You can see the mountains from the window. The kitchen has all the basic utensils, pots, drip coffee maker etc, not in great condition, but usable. The complex hot tub is spacious enough, and we loved the pool next to it (cooler than the tub, but still heated). Ski shuttle situation is a little tricky I think. There is a bus stop for a regular bus just in front of the lodge, but that only runs every hour. The winter ski shuttle to the gondola is every 30 mins, but the shuttle stop is somewhere a longer walk away, we didn't figure out where. Also, there are no direct bus routes neither to California nor Nevada lodges, only to the gondola. We used our car to get to the lifts.

The unit itself was fabulous- it was well equipped, and had everything we needed. The bed was ridiculously comfortable. My only complaint would be the lack of clarification regarding the location of the unit itself. It would have been helpful to list in the description or in the documentation somewhere that the unit was actually inside the lodge. We drove around the complex a couple of times, trying to figure out where 225 could possibly be. We found it because we went inside the lodge to ask for help. I just feel like this could’ve been spelled out easily in the check in directions. All in all great visit- great stay, would definitely recommend

The fireplace is beautiful and everything was comfy and cozy. The village is quaint to with a short walk to the lake--this unit has no view of the lake however. The complex itself was undergoing some renovations but didn't interfere with our stay. The place however is not well-insulated and the kids who were directly above us hit the ground running every morning at 6 a.m. and we could even hear them counting as they played...there needs to be better insulation between units;) Other than that, we enjoyed our stay as it was centrally located and quiet at night! Everyone at the front desk was very friendly and helpful!

Our stay at Lakeland village was very relaxing & enjoyable. Lake Tahoe is as beautiful as everyone told us. Our room/studio was clean, spacious, comfortable & well equipped. Things that we loved: Close parking, walk to a wonderful & clean beach, well equipped kitchen & many attractions were within walking distance. There are comfortable lounge chairs on the beach & large beach towels in the room. Ice water & coffee in the lobby. Brochures available too. The pool & sauna area was very nice. Really the only slight problem we had was the front desk staff was a bit dismissive when we arrived. When we had a few questions about checking in & resort amenities. As soon as they found out we were renting through VRBO, they said they weren’t really able to help us. Then while relaxing on the beach a man asked if I was a guest because I didn’t have a wrist band. I had my phone with me & showed him my confirmation. He explained that the front desk had the wrist bands & should have given them to us upon arrival. Just a small inconvenience.

Walked to the grocery store a couple of times, ate at a nearby restaurant, etc. Kiddo stayed on the hide-a-bed and it was very comfortable for her. No poking wires or anything in the mattress. King size bed was comfortable for us parents. Went to one of the pools a couple times and it was super cold, but refreshing on a hot day. Going to the beach was nice though there was quite a lot of seaweed. The lake at that location was much warmer than the pool! Was warm in Tahoe and A/C worked but only OK. It blows cold air right onto the side of the bed with no way to direct more into the room, which is a problem for the person sleeping right by it at night. However, that is a minor complaint and the overall unit was very good. The location is great because it is close to the elevator which opens into the parking garage. Definitely appreciated that a lot since the car was out of the elements. Would definitely recommend or stay there again!

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was located within a rundown lodge that has seen better days, and this felt like false advertising based upon the VRBO descriptions, etc. The construction projects were constant, and so were the smells from the dumpsters (two were located right outside of the room). The view we had from our room was one of a dilapidated hotel across the way. Parking was a mess due to construction and vehicles constantly blocking access points.The room itself was ok. However, there was an odor that would waft in at times, which we could only assume was coming from one of two dumpsters. The room above us was very loud and you could hear the floor squeak when people did the smallest of movements, always quite noisy especially in the middle of the night.We had three towels during our week long stay, and felt like that should’ve been restocked at least once. The outlets in the room were a bit hazardous, as many things were plugged into one outlet, especially in the kitchen. Overall, they tried to create a diamond in the rough, but this was the wrong place to do it in. There are so many nicer places in Lake Tahoe for similar costs, and I would highly recommend that you check those out instead.

Adequate - Nice Room but Old Facility
It’s an older property that was under construction. The floors were vibrating & the equipment was loud. There were men working ON OUR balcony. When we called the property management company about it (it is a company with a variety of people answering the phone, not an individual) they eventually said they would provide a refund for the base cost of 1 day of our 4 day stay. They own other units at a neighboring property that were not under construction but because those were more expensive they were not offered as an option. In fairness to them, they said the HOA only gave them less than 2 wks notice & they did send us a notification. But it was too late to change our plans & we didn’t know what all the construction would involve. It really shouldn’t have been rented out under those conditions. Yes, they gave us a small refund, but overall they made plenty of money on a unit that should’ve never even been rented out at that time. We were disappointed. The whole facility itself is very old with old carpet and low ceilings and just didn’t have a good vibe. The elevator was rickety. But the rm itself was very nice. The shower had nice tile & there were good linens. Everything was clean. We paid extra for the romance package and there was a beautiful chocolate strawberry dessert with champagne & rose petals. The tv & fireplace were very new and nice. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen small but had most of what I needed.

well appointed studio condo in great location
This studio condo is in the Lakeland Village lodge, so it's a great location close to the beach (5 minute walk to Lakeland Village beach) and within walking distance to restaurants and the marina. The condo is modern and much more updated than other Lakeland Village condos we have stayed in. The kitchen was well equipped, had everything we needed. The unit has AC which was nice given the heat of the summer.
