"Good value for overnight stay"

"I booked the budget room and was aware that there was some trade off between price and comfort. Room met description. Pluses were roof terrace, great room security clean and well maintained shared toilet and shower facilities, small kitchen available for basic rooms, fan, wifi and fridge. Single bed was basic but servicable. Location is also a plus, close to shops, Warden Head and Rennie Beach. Staff were friendly. Room had no air conditioning, which made it a bit hot during my autumn...

"Accomodation was very central and convenient to cafes, market and restaurants. The bathroom is older style but still functional. Basic facilities provided e.g. toaster and kettle. Would have liked a microwave so we could heat up food but made do without one. Air conditioner worked perfectly (which we needed on an incredibly hot night and fridge only made slight noises. On the downside, we did smell a slightly off smell from the bathroom. Otherwise, happy with our stay. "

"Good to have microwave in room, better to have dishwashing liquid cos plates are provided. Iron sole plate was full of gunk n transferred to my white shorts - cannot get black stuff off - not impressed - told owner he shld Hsve it seen to - he said they dont check iron - have them replaced every two yrs!! Also couldn’t make ironing board to stay up right! Kept collapsing! Why keep ash trays outside when sign says no smoking!!"

"Accomodation was quite good for the age of the property. It had a pool, tennis courts, laundry and free parking.Grounds were well kept and even had native wildlife. "
