"We had a friendly welcome from Tess, were given our keys to our room. We had room 2 which was a decent size with lovely fleece bedding. The shower was perfect, could do with a shelf for shower gel etc and a few hooks for clothes/ towels. We didn't have breakfast. It's a 15 minute stroll to the town centre with lovely views on route , would definitely recommend. "

"Emma contacted me unprompted to see what time I would be arriving, which was a nice courtesy. Enjoyed a nice slice of homemade cake with my tea upon arrival. Nice touch! My single room was ideal for a solo overnight stay. Comfortable and warm. Excellent breakfast included plenty of tempting options, all served in the spacious breakfast room. I would highly recommend Waves."

"Enjoyed our stay, pet friendly in most rooms which was a bonus for us because our dog travelled with us. Staff pleasant and friendly. Unsure about the food because didnt eat at the hotel, had a drink in the bar which was pleasant. They are doing work to the hotel so scaffolding to front of building. Net curtains required to the windows at front because no privacy due to the flats across the road and can see into your room. Fish and chips from the life boat fish shop was amazing.
