Too expensive for what it is
This was our 1-night stay for a weekend getaway with my spouse and parents. This place appeared as an entire home rental but it isn’t true. This is old victorian house in urgent need of renovations before renting to any guest. Apparently the current owner has been offering it as a bed and breakfast while he and his wife also live in the property. He left us part of the first floor separated from the main hallway with a glass door accesible also to the owner and guests. In fact in the morning the wife entered our supposed entire-place rental unannounced to make rice and wash dishes by hand. Only each of the two rooms have keys but not the access to rented area. we felt completed cheated after paying CAD$350 ( all fees incl.) for one night. This is instead a CAD$80 per room/night property all included with only 1 star. The place is old and filthy. It felt so dirty to the point that we wore shoes all the time. I also killed a small crock roach in the washroom. Urgent reno all over is required, in fact there were ladders outside which makes me think they are doing outside work. We will never be there again.
