"Peaceful, the river is close and viewed out of every window. The hot tub was hot and ready; my dog and I had a wonderful long weekend, hiked the trails, enjoyed the snow, even made it to Sleeping Bear. Great location and just a short drive to trails, Traverse City, and all the surrounding areas. If you stay in winter, a 4 wheel drive is a must, the driveway access is not for the faint of heart. "This house is in a perfect central location and has tons of charm. The house was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable. Only reason this was not a 5 star stay, is due to the driveway not being plowed when we arrived. The property manager responded right away, however the driveway did not get plowed until the following day. Otherwise our stay was wonderful! "

"Our family really enjoyed this home for our mid-winter break vacation. 20 minutes to the ski resort, and an hour away from sledding on Sleeping Bear Dunes, one of our favorite activities. 15 minutes into town where there are plenty of restaurants to enjoy.
