"We stayed 6 nights while touring San Sebastián and did some day trips to Bilbao, Biarritz and Bayonne. We enjoyed the 35 minute walk into the old town passing by the seaside. The hotel was the perfect place for us after a long day of exploring San Sebastián. Facilities were exactly what we needed. We will be back. "

"Overall this was a fantastic hotel to stay in, first the pro's: - very comfortable room and bed - Alejo, the front desk / concierge manager is WONDERFUL. He and his team went above and beyond to make sure we made the most of our stay (set us up with private autos, reservations, great restaurant suggestions, etc) The not so good: - no a la carte breakfast, either pay 90 Euros for buffet or starve - shower leaked onto the ground no matter what we tried to stop it from doing so. "We loved our stay but as a newly engaged couple (my fiancé proposed in the room on our first night at this hotel) we struggled with the open plan bathroom and bedroom. Otherwise, can't fault this cosy hotel and would highly recommend it for its location, cleaningness and comfort."

"We did not realize there was an amusement park outside the hotel but the furnicular was an amazing bonus to help us get down into town. The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning and the pool deck is likely the most picturesque pool scene we have ever enjoyed!"

"Good basic Appart’hotel. Rooms were spacious enough and the outdoor pool was nice for a dip. The indoor pool with sauna etc definitely gave the standard of the hotel a boost. Nice 1 mile walk along the coastline into the city centre, or the bus stop is close to the hotel. Areas for improvement/watch-outs….. our room was not cleaned once in 4 days. "From the moment I arrived – early – I felt welcome. I was able to sit down comfortably, order a cappuccino and relax while my room was prepared. I enjoyed a conversation with (Florian) a friendly staff member who excelled at connecting through conversation. From check-in through my very last day, everything was perfect. Staff were relaxed but also on their toes, so to speak. I will return to this particular hotel in Biarritz."

Great stopover

"Very clean and comfortable located very easily for a motorway stopover into Spain. Dog friendly and a very nice restaurant (with discount) two minutes walk away. Lovely shower and very quiet with safe parking. Close to the beach for dog walking."
