Simple, but beautiful, rural retreat, made a great base for exploring the foothills of Picos de Europa and further into the national park, but also close enough to enjoy the coast too. Very attentive host who made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. Excellent 5G reception across much of the area meant we only had to be as cut off from the rest of the world as we wanted to be."

"We chose this house because of the location. It is quite remote, in a very small hamlet about 10km up narrow roads. Villaviciosa is a lovely small town and worth a walk around. The hamlet of Piedrafita is exactly that, a hamlet. We were hugely disappointed that the local bar/eatery had suffered a fire and was out of action for the foreseeable. "We had a very relaxing stay at Casa Sira, which is a beautifully restored traditional house with all the modern comforts. The house is well equipped, and tastefully furnished with everything you need, comfortable beds and wi-fi / Tv etc. It is set in the mountains with stunning scenery all around. "Klein huisje, geschikt voor maximaal 2 personen. Voorzien van alle comfort. Goede uitvalsbasis om de streek te verkennen. De eigenaar is zeer behulpzaam en is altijd bereikbaar. Er is een klein tuintje waar je bij mooi weer kan inzitten met een mooi zicht op zee. Er is een goede douche, goede zetel, goed uitgeruste keuken en goede wifi. Het bed is smal maar goed.
