Simple, but beautiful, rural retreat, made a great base for exploring the foothills of Picos de Europa and further into the national park, but also close enough to enjoy the coast too. Very attentive host who made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. Excellent 5G reception across much of the area meant we only had to be as cut off from the rest of the world as we wanted to be."

"We chose this house because of the location. It is quite remote, in a very small hamlet about 10km up narrow roads. Villaviciosa is a lovely small town and worth a walk around. The hamlet of Piedrafita is exactly that, a hamlet. We were hugely disappointed that the local bar/eatery had suffered a fire and was out of action for the foreseeable. "Linda and Andres were fantastic hosts. The property is a converted barn and well-equipped. It’s in beautiful valley, close to the Rio Sella where you can swim. The garden area is mainly above the house. We didn’t use the bbq because we had our own, as we’d been camping elsewhere. There are plenty of fruit and nut trees nearby and the locals seemed happy for us to take peaches, walnuts and apples! Recommended."

"This is a great property. The location is ideal. It’s close to everything in Ribedesella and still quiet. We were very comfortable here.(2 parents and 2 teenage children) I wish we would have stayed longer. We enjoyed the town and some of the adventures near by in Covadonga and Arriondes. This has been one of our favorite locations on this trip."

"Accueil inexistant. Cest le gros probleme de cet hotel. Tout se passe sur internet. Beaucoup de bruit le soir avec les restaurants, jusqu'à tres tard dans la nuit. Je n'ai pas vu une seule fois un responble de l'hôtel. Dommage."

"Nice house in quiet mountain village. Close to Sotres and Cares which can be reached by car, local bus, or walking. Host was helpful in providing local information. There is no Wi-Fi in the house, but we were able to join our hosts network, sitting on the bench outside their house a short walk away."

"A fantastic place to stay to enjoy the coast and mountains of Asturias. The two terraces are amazing and there is a great set of furniture on each to enjoy the sun from morning to evening. The apartment has everything you could need and is obviously a loved home, it made staying here even more special. Friendly and helpful communications from Felipe throughout made us feel at home. Can't recommend highly enough!"
