"I had a wonderful week at this property, despite the weather not cooperating as Florida weather is supposed to. It was serene and relaxing to sit overlooking the river. I enjoyed biking, kayaking, and hiking, all with my German Shepherd. Carolyn was an excellent hostess, very attentive and easy to communicate with. St. Mark's Retreat was just what I was looking for. "The house looks just like the pictures on VRBO. The area is very quiet with very few cars going by. You are very close to the gulf and very close to restaurants and grocery store. The town of Carabelle is relatively small but has everything you would need for a nice laid-back trip."

"The owner was super friendly, the goats were cute, but the bugs do get a little cozy at night. We couldn’t complete our full stay, but the owner was helpful and understanding. "
