"Property was very nice and clean. Just 3 cabins on site so a small establishment. The owner/manger seemed nice. There were pastries etc for breakfast but we had bagels with us which we toasted in the toaster in the cabin and had with some nice hot coffee. The roon was mostly well appointed. The bed was a bit soft for us but others may like it. Best part is you can walk to the lighthouse which makes great sense during sunset times. "

"The cottage was clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable, We really enjoyed and made good use of the fire pit. It was all set up and ready to light. Southwest Harbor is my favorite place to stay on the island. It is much less touristy than Bar Harbor but still has some good dining options as well as a nice coffee shop. We had a great stay."

"We stayed for one night in this lovely, rustic cottage and wished we had more than one day to enjoy the amenities, which was a fantastic lakeside spot with a dock, fire pit, kayaks, and wrap around deck. "This place has potential. Plaster board or sheet rock inside to make it look more homey, maybe a sink instead of a pump wash water station otherwise maybe sound proof as you can hear the neighbor snoring. I owner is nice. "

"Very cozy and private cabin. The bathroom has amenities that make it feel like a little spa. Outside deck space and fire pit is nice. Lots of different spaces and rooms. It's about 20-30 min to Acadia depending on the traffic. I would recommend this place to anyone, except for someone who has difficulty using stairs. We would go back."

"We really enjoyed our 4-night stay at Loon Song Cottage. The cottage has a screened front porch, which you don't see often in vacation rentals.
