"Aldi Morrisons and McDonald's are a couple of mins drive. Restaurants and shops 10 mins slow walk but car park also near by shops. Comfortable stay, we used as a base for biking 15 miles round Rutland water. Double bedroom on ground floor with toilet by the door. Then another double on top floor with ensuite shower room. A twin room and a bunk bed room with main bath room and over bath shower. Very good for large families. We didn't use the kitchen because chippy was also good near by. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Rectory Farm for the Christmas Holidays. We stayed in the two bedroom loft which was perfect for our family. We saw some fantastic wildlife including a badger, ducks, birds and loved the rolling green English countryside."

"The property has a high standard, there are a few things however that could be improved on. Wardrobe space is sadly lacking and could be placed on the landing. Also a chair in the bedroom. Please dont be so stringy with the toilet rolls. Willprobably"

The renovation of the barn has been done very sympathetically keeping many of the original features on the old building. Great hosts, on hand for anything you need. Would recommend. "

Rikesh was really helpful and communicative. Although the house was perfect for what we needed, it could do with a little updating and sprucing up."

"The carpet was loose on the stairs and this was very dangerous, I tripped every single time going up the stairs. The toilet brush was absolutely covered in faeces. The bathroom door lock was broken. The bedroom handle was broken. The garden needs some serious love it’s covered in weeds. Parking is a nightmare. I was also asked to pay a 35 pound non refundable fee after booking which I was not told about… felt a bit like theft. Wouldn’t stay again."
