"We were disappointed with this hotel, although that may also be coloured by the fact we didn’t like Solo very much. When we first got in the room, it was very musty smelling (which is being generous about its smell). The room was very basic (which is fine) but there was no place at all to hang out outside despite having a big garden space. The garden is all plants and water features, no tables. The location was convenient to the train station but not really to “downtown”. Walking in Solo is not...

"building and properties already old, cleanliness was not good either. but what i most disappointed was the service of the staff, i booked for package included pick up service but there's no confirmation at all an when I already arrived at station at midnight they said they can not pick up because its already very late, so what's the point they give this package right!! and they said breakfast is 6-10 AM, but when I went to restaurant at 9 AM, the food almost gone and they didn't refilled it,...

"The good: Lovely staff who are always willing to assist. The friendly greetings each time we walked past the reception desk made us smile. Comfortable room. The bad: Food at the restaurant not great for the price. The ugly: Room had quite a bit of wear and tear. The smell of other guests smoking nearby was really strong and unpleasant. Noisy guests kept us awake over a couple of nights."
