"We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a quiet area with only is a short walk to shops, restaurants and the beautiful beach. The pool area is lovely with a bar. For breakfast and dinner the food is delicious, plentiful, with a wide choice."

"Extremely friendly and informative staff. Excellent well stock breakfast buffet with vast selection of hot and cold options. Handy location approx 100m from the beach. The spa facilities were a nice bonus. My only slight fault was the bed would shift as it wasnt fixed to the ground, however i am confident that had i mentioned this to the lovely staff they would have sorted this for us. Overall 5 stars and would recommend."

"L’Avenida was altogether lovely, bursting with character and style. The location was perfect, near the main square but tucked away and so quiet and peaceful. The room was on two levels and huge, a sitting room and wet room downstairs and a bedroom above. It was quiet and peaceful, the bed was comfortable and there was the perfect environment for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast around the pool every morning was a treat, with superb local treats and fresh orange juice. The public areas reflected the grandeur of the early 20th century builder with marble aplenty. The original decor was enhanced by more modern art all in the best possible taste. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful and we would be happy to stay there again - it had provided us with so many happy memories "
