Was great to stay in centre and wander around the old town early morning before the rest of the tourists arrived en mass. We felt rejuvenated and relaxed following our stay. "

"The front office staff were very friendly and welcoming, the hotel is just on the edge of the old town and castle which is ideal with Pugh the hassle for vehicles inside the old town and island of Sirmione and so it’s very walkable too. We loved the closeness to the island bars, shops and restaurants too. Our room felt modern and had a fabulous view over the small beach and the lake. "

"I have nothing but praise for this hotel. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds & pillows. Great shower pressure. The staff is friendly and one specific employee guided us for transportation to the city. We received a welcoming and parting gift, a first for us. Fountain water - flat or sparkling available at reception. If you have a car, I would highly recommend this hotel. Cons- No English or French TV channels. We always book a hotel in accordance to the accessibility to public transportation. With a bus stop to Verona only 200m away, I thought we would be all set. Bus #148 has a very limited ride schedule in the early morning one at noon and a few in late afternoon. Several of the runs are for school kids, but adults are allowed. We were there for 4 days on Easter weekend. This bus does not run on Sundays and was suspended for Saturday and Monday because of Easter. We had to take a taxi which cost us near 30 euros each trip. As a hotel, super...but if dependent of public transportation, better avoid booking on Sundays unless you don't mind paying for a taxi or shuttle."

"Lovely place. Convenient place near the castle. Excellent breakfast and you could boil your own eggs! Good variety of breakfast spread. Slippers and bathrobes were a lovely touch. Good size towels (bath sheets). Good quality bathroom products that were complimentary. Swimming pool on the roof! Very nice and convenient addition. "

"My husband and I had an amazing stay here. The food was great, the staff was friendly, they offered us lots of snacks and plenty of water in our rooms, daily housekeeping, just all in all a great experience. We got married at Isola del Garda, just a 30 minute boat ride from the dock behind the hotel which was convenient. The asthetic of the property was very elegant, old money luxury. We loved the heated outdoor pool for when the sun was out, and we enjoyed the indoor spa and heated pool for when it rained. The only complaints I have is that the area isn't very walkable, and the taxis are insanely high priced. We had the hotel call us a taxi to go about 16 minutes up the street and back & paid 75€. Insane. Public transportation is the only thing that makes sense in Italy unless you're on a splurge. "
