Would you like to rent a summer house, bungalow, apartment, or temporary home and enjoy the peace, quiet, and 'our' directly surrounding nature? Or would you rather go out and sniff culture, for example, in Amersfoort's beautiful medieval city center? You are assured of an unforgettable holiday at our small-scale bungalow park 't Eekhoornnest, beautifully hidden at the foot of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug and against the Soester sand drifts. Our holiday park is the perfect starting point for a cozy picnic, a mountain bike adventure, or a beautiful walk through versatile nature. Did you know that the wooded area of Soest directly behind our estate has been an enormous source of inspiration for famous painters such as Escher and Rien Poortvliet? Our park is also just a 30 min. drive away from Amsterdam.

A beautifully situated 4-person log cabin with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and sink and a separate toilet, a kitchen, a cozy living room, a porch and terrace, and 1 parking spot in front of the door. It is located on a hill on the estate "de Groene Duinen" with a view overlooking the nature of the estate and just a few steps away from to the sand dunes.

Many holiday villages do not allow pets in their accommodations due to damage and noise
Control. We would like to allow you to bring your pet but we have some strict rules that
will need to be followed to make this possible.

Please take care:
- Never leave your pet alone in the house
- Do not let your pet go into any other room than the living room. Please leave the
bathroom and bedrooms pet free.
- Bedding (Duvets and pillows) with pet hair will be billed. Guests that may stay in the
house after you might be allergic and therefore we would have to remove them from
the house.
- Cover the sofas and chairs with a blanket.
Please remove any hairs that may be on the furniture.
- Please take care of the walls. A wet dog for example can easily dirty the walls.
We will be needing to paint the walls afterward and costs will be charged.
- Bring your vacuum cleaner. Pet hairs always give a smell to the vacuum cleaner
which isn’t nice for the next guests that are allergic or don’t own a pet.
- Your dog has to be leashed when walking in the park. Walk your dog only outside the
park. Bring plastic bags for your dog´s feces.
- We are allowed to go inside your house without notice when we see a dog alone
barking noisily.

On an estate of 14 ha. you will find this hidden holiday park located on the Soester Sand drifts. You drive along a lane of oak trees of 500m before you reach the bungalow park with only 42-holiday homes and recreation bungalows. Here you are assured an oasis of peace. The intersection of different landscapes further enhances this unique location. The Utrechtse Heuvelrug on the south side of the park with 300ha of forest, dunes, and heather fields, the vast Eemdal valley on the north side, on the east side only 3500m medieval Amersfoort and on the west side at 1800m Soest.
