River Rock Ranch, Country Fishing retreat

We are situated on 1.5 miles of private Bulkley River frontage and world class fishing. It is 5 minute walk to the river. This is a quiet rural setting 10 minutes to Smithers. The neighbourhood is quiet with beautiful views and great walking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing opportunities. The suite is comfy and clean. Place is good for couples, families, solo adventurers, and business travellers and perfect for fishermen . NOTE: 2 Children 12 and under stay free. message me to let me know

The space
The suite is over the shop and has a private entrance. Comfy beds and warm
cozy place with cable TV and wireless internet. All cooking and eating utensils are supplied as well as a coffee machine.
All windows in the place provide amazing views of the mountains and the river.

Guest access
Travellers get access to the whole suite and parking. Laundry is accessible from the suite upon request.
Travellers also have access to 1.5 miles of the private Bulkley River. A 5 minute walk from the suite.
Winter months weather providing we also have groomed cross country ski trails and an outdoor skating rink.

Other things to note
The suite has a few stairs to get up to it and is not suitable for anyone
with mobility issues. NOTE: up to two children under 12 can stay for free. Just do not list them as extra guests when booking. Let me know when booking so I will know that you have children

Just what we needed! Beautiful farm, stellar setting.
This was the first two days of anniversary trip and it was a perfect place to settle in and enjoy the river in the mountains. We loved gathering up our meals from local farms and ranches. The accommodations were exceptional. Our hosts were very friendly and gracious, and we enjoyed a couple of nice visits with them. Thank you so much for a fantastic start to our vacation.

I would highly recommend the River Rock Ranch. The space was very very clean, comfy and cozy. Really quiet with very well kept property. I will definitely be going back for any future trips.

This property is wonderful. The hosts are friendly and helpful, very nice people who made us feel welcome. The property is a beautiful location, with lots of space to walk along the river. The unit is clean, has all the amenities. Just perfect.

We were in Smithers for a wedding and had a wonderful stay at the Riverrock Ranch. A beautiful property along the Bulkley River with scenic views of the mountains and trails to explore along the river. The guest house was perfect for our group and the hosts were lovely.

Thursday to Sunday Ski Getaway
The location and the ranch itself is beautiful. The apartment was well stocked with cooking utensils, blankets, pillows, etc. It has everything you need to be comfortable after a day of skiing. We spent one afternoon xc skiing on the ranch property. You can ski in the fields, along the rivers and through a gorgeous forest. The owners were easy to deal with it and the views from the windows of the mountains, horses, dogs, etc. are unparalleled. I would definitely stay here again.
